This has got to be one of my favorite places on earth. Where you can feel the serenity of a civilization long gone. And almost hear the gentle whisper of chants and prayers enveloping the mist.
We're one step closer in experiencing the old world on the other side.
Only here one can imagine how time, circumstances and natural phenomenon worked together to create huge trees slithering like serpents on cold walls and pavements.
They are magical on their own special way.
And I can see that they also know how to rock the night away in these dancing halls.
One just have to find their hidden sense of humour to appreciate this butt crack.
And be foolish playing peekabo behind these stoned worship rooms.
I want to relinquish memories of this place in my head--over and over again. It's like I have opened the shiniest present on Christmas day when we visited Ta Prohm. And it wasn't even December when we went there. The weather was slightly cold and damp because of recent rain. It's a marvel to how a place can still be uniquely enchanting regardless of the weather.
